A robot called AIs is about to take the first steps in building the future of research in artificial intelligence.
It is being developed by a team of researchers at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut, with support from a US defence research organisation.
The robot, which will be called Ais-3, will use artificial intelligence to design a robot that can perform complex tasks.
It will be controlled by computer software and could be built by a group of researchers for less than $100,000.

It said Ais is 3 will be able to learn from its surroundings, identify objects, find objects and perform tasks, and could learn how to play a video game.
It can learn to recognise faces and recognise people by analysing facial expressions, as well as how the shape of their eyes changes as they smile.
It also can perform tasks that are not typically performed by computers, such as learning to read the news or playing a video of an animal.
The Ais system will be built using existing computing hardware, but the team said it would also be able use computer vision techniques.
“There are several computer vision systems currently being developed and being developed around the world.
The goal is to bring the technology to a real-world setting and see if we can develop and use the technology in the real world,” Dr D’Aguostino said.

He added: “We hope to be able, for example, to learn how people respond to a new face, how long they wait to make a decision, or how many times they move around during the day.”
AIS will be connected to a computer It is not clear exactly how the software will work.
However, Dr Dereck said it will use a “deep learning” algorithm.

“That is the kind of system that we are going to be building for Ais,” he said.
